So, yea.....I have fallen away from this website over the last year out of boredom and just being busy. I usually get on once a week to see what updates are out there, but nothing really catches my attention. Go figure, I have been on the site for seven years and just now have I become bored. Yet, I sit here updating this journal so go figure.

Really, I am just bored tonight, and this is the first time in several months that I have had a weekend to myself. No plans, no work, nothing, just relax. The timing is good, because I have been fighting a cold the entire week, and even now I feel like it is getting worse. I think a lot of this weather change.

Actually, I may still be jet lagged from being in Arizona all last week. Wow, it was amazing out there. Every single day high 70's and the nights were perfect. One cool thing about my job is that I get to travel quite a bit. The entire week we ate and drank like kings. As soon as I got back I went right for the exercise bike and my weights.

Right before the trip to Arizona I was in another wedding. I think this will be the last one I am in for a while. But I think this makes five all together. This one was for my friend Drew, who has been with his now wife for about three years. Amazing wedding, and the reception was a blast. Lots of singing and dancing. And I have to say, I do enjoy dancing.

The rest of the last few weeks have been spent going to Louisville, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Columbus to see friends or handle business. I did see the smashing pumpkins a few months ago, which was a good time. I also went to see Jimmy Eat World and We Were Promised Jetpacks. My buddy Matt is obsessed with music, so he is always up for concerts. I still have to see Pearl Jam before I die. Speaking of Pearl Jam, they now have their own station on Sirius Radio....yea I only listen to that now. Really.

Not a lot else going on at the moment. Work is going well. A hospital from Louisville is trying to lure me away at the moment for a VP position, but I'm not biting. Where I am at right now is good, and taking me to where I want to go. Plus, I just finished a year and a half, and got a wicked bonus at my one year evaluation. Other than that, not a lot on the dating front. Been on a couple dates lately, but nothing of note. Nice girls, but no connection.

Wow, I'm gonna be 29 next week. I'm creeping closer and closer to thirty. Before  you know it I will be taking centrum silver, and walking with a cane. Actually, getting older doesn't bother me right now. I'm becoming more comfortable with who I am as a person, and starting to feel good about who I have become. I still struggle like everyone else, but it feels good to have a promising job, good friends, and healthy. I can't really ask for much more right now. Cake would be nice though, I can always go for cake. : )
