Amazing how Halloween changes as you grow up. Being a kid I loved halloween, the dressing up, the candy, scaring people, all of it was such a blast. Plus it was innocent. High school and college is changed a bit for me, but it was still fun. I loved putting together the halloween stuff in my parents garage, and everyone always seemed to enjoy coming by our house to see what we came up with that year. The parties were always great, and no one was dressed as "sexy" or "slutty" anything. They just showed up in normal costumes without anything sexual about it. Probably my favorite thing was to go to haunted houses/woods or mazes. I remember waiting like three hours in line just to walk through a haunted woods that lasted maybe twenty minutes. Geez, I froze my ass off that night, but it was still a blast.

As for this year, I stayed at my place and handed out candy. Thinking I was going to have a fun night seeing a lot of cool costumes and watching ghost hunters turned out to be rather lame. They only let kids trick or treat here between four and six. It isn't even freaking dark and halloween was over. Plus half the bastards who came to my house were probably to old to be trick or treating. The other half could barely even say trick or treat or thank you. And I'm not referring to small children there, I am talking about ungrateful cock tools with redneck parents who can't teach their kids manners because they lack them as well. Oh, and what the hell is with people driving their kids door to door? No wonder these fuckers are so fat and lazy these days. I better stop before I get on more of a "in my day" rant. It's just a shame though that halloween has changed so much in such a short time.

Everything is rather bland these days. Work is going as usual, just been really busy. It seems I go out to dinner at least once a week. I had to come to a rather tough conclusion the other week, where I will be laying some people off. Not a lot, but having to do this to one person sucks, but in total I think this will impact five to seven people. I'm getting a fair amount of pressure to turn a million dollar loss into a break even or gain in less than ten months. Not something that most people would just at, but I think I can do it.

Uhg, I am gonna be 28 in two weeks. I still feel like I am 14.
